How to : Hot Pink Tangerine

Pink and vibrant orange (or as I like to call tangerine) is a color combo that is bright, cheerful, and screams spring time. Although this color combination has been popular since last year, it's showing little signs of slowing down. I personally love these two colors together because not only do I look great in orange, but pink is such a fun girly color to wear.

Several celebrities, including Kim K have been spotted sporting these two beautiful pastels together as well. One great thing about investing in pieces in either color, is that not only do they work great together, but you can also separate the pieces to create an all new look.

What Francy Did? : Madewell Denimathon

This past Sunday Madewell in conjunction with Mattie James, Director of Atlanta Style Blogger's,  hosted "DENIMTHON" (a denim style-a-thon) at the Madewell store in Lenox Square Mall!

This was my first Atlanta Style Blogger event and it was great getting to network with my fellow style bloggers. During the event we enjoyed delicious Bellinis and adorable mini cupcakes from Cami Cakes. Bloggers also competed in a fun tournament style-a-thon using pieces from Madewell.

Check out the rest of the post to see a few pictures from the event and a few of my favorite picks from Madewell!

Below are the winner (on the right) and the 1st runner up for the style a thon.

Thanks for reading, make sure you stop by your local Madewell and see the adorable pieces they have for spring and summer!!

Wear? : Weekend Brunch

It's safe to say, brunch is the most important meal of the weekend... or at the very least, my favorite. Let's be honest, most of us don't wake up on time (either due to partying the night before or sheer laziness) to make it in time for a proper breakfast. Brunch is amazing because it takes the best parts of breakfast and mixes it with lunch (perfect for me since I am not really a breakfast food person). Many of my fondest memories of the summer involve exploring a local restaurant I've never been to while sipping a mimosa and watching the sunlight reflect off my table during brunch. The only thing that I can think of that's better than going to brunch on a late Saturday morning, is going to brunch and then going shopping afterward.

I also love brunch because I feel like it's an excuse to get overly dolled up...if you showed up to breakfast decked out in a dress fit for high tea, people would question why you are dressed up so early in the day (okay maybe not but you get the point).

Saturday Morning Brunch

This week in lieu of our final class, my professor is inviting the class over to his house for brunch. Although I think this outfit might be a bit much for school, I'm almosttempted to wear something similar anyway (don't worry, I will restrain myself).

Even if you're not a brunch person per say, I feel like this look will inspire you to give it a go (trust me you won't be disappointed). Comment below and let me know what your favorite meal of the day is or what you like to wear to brunch.

Weekly Wardrobe Inspiration: Seafoam Green

Seafoam green is a trend that was all over the runways for Spring 2012. It's no wonder so many designers found this color to be a muse for them, it looks brilliant on a multitude of skin tones and complements the season's pastels as well. Avoid being "green with envy" and pick up an item in this hot shade for yourself. If while you’re wearing this seasonal hit and you suddenly feel the need to break out singing "Sebastian's part in Under the Sea," don't worry...I as the self proclaimed karaoke queen will join in with you.
