3 Ways to Style Shorts this Summer

Shorts are a win win for summer (especially when you follow these tips). There’s no risk of a breeze lifting them up and revealing more than you bargained for, but they’re still flattering and keep you cool. There are loads of different styles available, all kind of lengths and cuts and studs and sequins. I’ve chosen these loose fitting Primark shorts that have quite a silky feel to them and a very subtle elephant print. I’ve styled them three different ways here, so you can make the most of yours this summer!

1.For the Evening:

I’ve slipped on a loose fitting coral jumper here to add a pop of colour, and to keep me a bit warmer for those chilly late evenings. These boots grunge the outfit up a bit, keeping it casual but girly at the same time with frilly socks.

2. Beach side:

Hitting the beach? One of my pet hates is walking around in a bikini for all to see. That’s why I love the huge range of tanks and cami’s you can wear over your swim top. I’ve chosen this cute cut out one from Topshop with a gorgeous summery floral pattern.

3. Out and About:

To spruce these plain shorts up for running around town, I’ve paired them with a patterned white blouse. I love the monochrome look, and blouses are a great way to carry this trend into the summer, without looking too wintery. These T Bar pumps add a vintage feel to the outfit, and accessories wise, floral head crowns are going to be everywhere this summer!
