What to wear to a Spring Wedding
Weddings are a time to look your best, regardless if you're in the actual ceremony or not. If you're single, it's the perfect opportunity to meet a friend of a friend (just make sure they aren't trying to reenact wedding crashers). If you're in a relationship, it's the perfect time to show all your friends and more importantly exes that you haven't seen in a while that you still got it (be honest, you know you do it too). So yea, needless to say, the stakes are pretty high. Luckily, we got your back ;). Check out our how to post for inspiration on what to wear to your upcoming Spring weddings.
Look for dresses that are form flattering but not overly sexy. Try finding a knee length cocktail dress in a soft pastel or warm coral like the one pictured above. Remember, sometimes more is more, show some skin but make sure you remain tasteful. Complete the look with neutral accessories and a cute white blazer.

Day to Night: Printed Pants
With the warmer months approaching, it’s time to ditch those plain winter pants and brighten up your wardrobe. The patterned trousers trend is becoming increasingly popular in both the UK and the States this Spring. Surprisingly, these bold statement pants are also amazingly versatile and easy to wear. Don't believe us? We put a friends’ pair to the test to see if they can go from day to night.
Night: Drinks with the girls? Dress up your trousers with some chunky heels and a cropped top. Or if you’re tummy conscious, tuck in a blouse or shirt and add a statement necklace.
Comment below and let us know how you style your printed trousers!?

Day: Wear your patterned trousers as a casual every day look with a plain jumper or top like this Primark one here. You’ve still got a pop of colour to turn heads, but you won’t stick out like a sore thumb when browsing the high street. Embrace the warmer weather (when it finally comes) or strut down the Mediterranean streets in a cute lace cami or blouse, paired with a floppy hat and sunglasses.

Francy Answers: How to prevent buyer's remorse
"Dear Francy, I feel like I'm constantly going shopping, then going back and returning things a week later. I seriously hate doing this but I keep shopping because I always feel like I never have ANYTHING to wear. I hate my closet so much I'm thinking of getting rid of everything and starting from scratch. Do you have any tips on building a better wardrobe? "
If you're anything like me, you can probably empathize with this reader's dilemma. I use to have a very similar problem (and as a result still have items in my closet with price tags attached because I never wore them after purchasing). It sounds to me like the real issue is buyers remorse, a condition that although painfully annoying, is luckily preventable. Below are the three questions I try to ask myself before and while I'm shopping in order to prevent buying items I will later regret.

What to wear to Coachella
Ahhh Coachella, seems like just yesterday we were talking about the fringe, flowers, and overall hippyesque fashion we spotted amongst the crowd of celebrities and civilians. Last year's Coachella felt bigger than ever ( it's not every year Tupac shows up), and stories of the two weekend festival seemed to be circulating for months after. Those who were bummed they didn't get to go last year made sure to get their tickets early this year and have been counting down the days. Although we won't be there (sad, but hey, someone has got to hold down the fort back in NYC) we want to make sure we give a proper stylish send off to all of those lucky enough to be making this years pilgrimage.
So to make life (not to mention packing) easier, we've come up with this handy dandy cheat sheet, sure to make you look like a desert partying pro.
White dresses, shirts, and jumpsuits are perfect for desert life.
Pastels and acid wash denim are too huge trends right now, rock out this year at Coachella while you rock these two trends. We love pairing acid wash shorts with a pretty pastel ombré shirt or a pastel dress with a acid wash jacket.
Finish off your look with killer accessories. We love Aztec inspired jewelry and leather tote bags for a more relaxed but stylish look.

New Online Stomping Ground: MissguidedUS.com
If you've been following fancy francy for a while, then you've probably noticed our
If you're not familiar with Missguided yet, it's a fast fashion site, that stocks a lot of the latest trends but at a reasonable price. We fell in love with them because of their "badass" vibe, trendy clothes, and overall dopeness. True to many UK stores, they seem to have their pulse right on the latest fashions and often stock killer trends before it hits other mainstream stores.

How to wear a skater style dress
Skater Dress: one in which the top (bodice) is form fitted and then slightly flares out to be loose below the bustline or waistline.
Now that we've gotten the definition out-of-the-way and hopefully erased the frightening images of sequins applied to nude color mesh fabric that you probably conjured up in your head, let's get to the good stuff. Check out my three tips on how to wear a skater dress, just in time for Spring.
