I'll be honest, when I first came across Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) lip tars, I was excited!...but confused. I was familiar with them from hearing numerous beauty bloggers and YouTube gurus gush and rave over them but few had ever mentioned how they use them. I (like I would imagine most people would) assumed they were simply used like lipgloss and generously slathered on lips unbridled (yes, it's possible to use them that way but remember a little goes a long way). So imagine my surprise the first time I used a tube and ended up with globs of brightly colored high pigment lip product all over the general area of my mouth. Determined to not give up until I found the land of "milk and lip tar" every other beauty addict seemed to have found, I did some research as well as trial and error until I finally found three amazing uses for these products (and right in time for the launch of their newest Fall collection).

How to Use OCC Lip Tars

December Glossybox Review
This past December I received the December 2012 Glossybox for review. This is the second Glossybox I've received so far so I was really excited to see what products I would get this time.
My favorite item from this month's box would have to be the necklace from Jewelmint. It's a thick silver chain style necklace and I've been wearing it every chance I get (including in the review video) . Coming in as a close second favorite would be the Mark. lipstick, I love how pigmented the color is and can't wait to try more products from the line.
My least favorite item would probably be the Pleats Please perfume. Although I love trying new fragrances, that particular scent isn't really "me" and I don't see myself using it.
