1. Go Feet First: If you're going to wear this trend, the key is to go in feet first (both literally and figuratively). Start off by focusing on what shoes you will pair your overalls with. Since shoes are the only major part of your look that will not be covered by your overalls, they automatically become a major focal point. Dainty thin heel pumps or sandals like this and this go perfectly with a pair of overalls for that "tomboy chic" look.
2. Opposites Attract: To prevent this look from looking frumpy, be sure to play with proportions. Pair slightly loose fitting overall pants with a form fitted top such as this crop top or this tank top.
3. Step Outside the Box: This season overalls come in tons of styles and fabrics outside of the traditional denim. Try a leather or printed pair of overalls to make this look more night time appropriate. Pair your "non traditional" overalls with a solid color neutral shirt like white or black to keep the look from being too "busy" and let the overalls take the attention.
4. Don't Be Afraid to Go Old School: We love this trend because it has such a fun old school feel to it. Paired with a cropped top and beanie this look is totally a play on the early 90's. Take the look one step further by tying a flannel button up shirt or something similar around your waist.
