Cocotique Beauty Box Review
The Cocotique beauty box subscription program launched a few weeks ago with tons of items aimed at "helping people discover their ultimate beauty arsenal".
I loved this box, because unlike other beauty boxes I've received in the past, every product in the box was super useful for me. My two favorite items in this month's box were the KIND bar (don't judge me for picking food) and the LA Fresh Nail Polish remover pad. The KIND bar was deliciously awesome (and gluten free to boot, extra score) and the nail polish remover was super handy (definitely a must have for my hand bag).
In addition to my favorites out the box, below are the other products I received.

OCC Mini Lip Tar Holiday Collection
Sometimes good things do come in small packages, as is the case with the new OCC (Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics) mini lip tar holiday collection. To celebrate the season, OCC has come up with a collection of their best selling shades in sets of 4 or 12 (just in time to practice our new techniques). We love this as a gift (or for ourselves) because we get to try out all of their best shades (for a fraction of the cost).
Think this collection might be for you? Be sure to freshen up on your lip tar techniques and head to Sephora.com for the four pack available now or the 12 pack available at Sephora on 10/22/2013.

Indie Lee and Beautylish DIY Event Recap
Last week, Beautylish and Indie Lee got together to host a DIY event for NYC beauty mavens. The unique event was held at Penthouse 45 in NYC and treated guests to cake pops, adorable logo cupcakes, and Bindie Bellinis. In between noshing and mingling we created our own DIY beauty products (a lip scrub, a body scrub and bath salts) while learning about Indie Lee.
At the end of the night all of the guest got to take home their DIY creations and two Indie Lee cosmetic products (more on that in my upcoming beauty haul post.)
Check out Beautylish and Indie Lee here, or shop a few of Indie Lee's best sellers below.
Be sure to look out for a DIY beauty post inspired by the event coming soon!

What's Trending Now: Circle skirts
Definition: a full skirt that comes down smoothly from the waist without darts or pleats. A skater style skirt that is longer in length (past the knees) and typically made from sturdier fabric.
Circle skirts are in for Fall as evident from their influx in appearance at recent fashion weeks and editorials. Similar to the still ever popular skater skirt, these full skirts fall from the waist, skimming past the hips and bum, making them great for those who are figure conscious or want to hide below the waist "problem areas".
Pull the circle skirt trend off this season by pairing yours with a fitted shirt and stylish heels. The fitted shirt keeps the outfit in portion and the heels will give back a few of the extra inches to your legs that the longer hemline takes away.

Francy Answers: How to transition your dresses into Fall/Autumn
Dear Francy,
I'm more of a dress and skirt kind of girl and now that the weather is getting colder, I was wondering if you have any tips for how to wear dresses in the Fall. This is my first Fall up north and I'm nervous about the transition. Thanks so much!
1. Tights are your best friend. Don't even attempt to wear a dress without tights (or a similar contraption for those into retro guarders and things) once the weather starts to get chilly. For some ladies the thought of wearing tights and stockings may cause them to conjure up images of their mother (or even grand mother) but these accessories are definitely not a thing of the past. These days tights come in thousands of styles, looks, and forms: all perfect for younger (and older) generations alike.
