Best Drugstore Makeup for Summer

Summer is in full force and for many of us that means: sun, beaches, and a new summer beauty routine. If you haven't already had to re-think your makeup routine, trust us, you will. Heavy foundations and hot summer rays are long time nemesis and with summer tanning often comes the need for new summer shades. If you want to update your makeup for summer (and still have enough money left over to go out and enjoy the weather), CVS pharmacy is a go to for the newest beauty products at affordable prices.

Here's my top drugstore makeup picks for summer:





Foundation: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB 8 in 1 Beauty Balm Skin Perfector. This product is a must have for summer because it perfects and protects the skin with a SPF 30. I actually use it year round because it provides just enough coverage and protection for an everyday look.

 

 



Concealer: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. The deepest shade in this is a little light for my complexion (especially in the summer) so instead I use it to highlight under my eyes and brighten up any dark circles.

 

 

Eyeliner: L'Oreal lineur brush tip liquid eyeliner. Black liquid eyeliner has been my favorite ever since I started wearing liquid eyeliner years ago. Look for versions that have an easy to use tapered brush applicator such for an intense color payoff and easy application.

 

 



Blush: Milani Baked Powder Blush. Corallina is a beautiful, natural peachy/ orange blush perfect for summer. Try this shade or another Milani Baked Powder Blush to add a healthy summer flush to your face.

 

 

 

Lips: Revlon Lip butter. I used this lippie last fall and have rediscovered it for summer. I love that it has the texture of a lip balm with the color intensity of a lipstick. It's the perfect two in one lip product.

 

 



Eye shadow: Physicians Formula: Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow. This eyeshadow palette is a great go to for neutral everyday looks.
