Makeup Bag Essentials

 

Looking good on the go is essential for every fancy female but finding time to "put on your face" can be a bit of a challenge for those of us always on the go. Today's post is the first in a series of "makeup essentials" or "makeup 101" tips as I like to think of them. A list of necessary products to help you look your best at all times. Keep reading to find out what products I always keep on me in my makeup bag for touchups and on fly makeup looks and get inspiration on what to pack in yours!

Foundation: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB 8 in 1 Beauty Balm Skin Perfector. This product is a must have for my makeup bag because it acts as a tinted moisturizer and has SPF 30. Most days I don't put on a full face so this provides just enough coverage and protection for an everyday look.

Concealer: Bobbi Brown creamy concealer and Bobbi Brown corrector. My perfect combo to get rid of under eye dark circles.

Powder: Clinique perfectly real powder compact. This powder works great to set concealer and as an overall face powder for additional coverage.

Eye shadow: wet n wild eyeshadow palette in "vanity". This is my go to palette, 9 times out of 10 if I'm wearing eyeshadow, I used this palette. It's the perfect neutral palette for everyday looks.

Eyeliner: NYC black liquid eyeliner.

Mascara: Benefit "They're Real" Mascara. I first got introduced to this mascara during the last NYFW and I've been in love with it since. I keep it in my makeup bag because it gives me great lengths without
having to use multiple mascaras.

Blush: Lisi cosmetics pressed powder blush in "flushed". A beautiful orange blush for a natural flushed look.

Lips: Revlon Lip butter and Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm. I hate chapped lips, especially in the winter so I always have to keep Chapstick on me!
